Use the Lipotherme laser lipo workstation from Osyris Medical USA for laser liposculpture of the chin, jowls, arms, back, abdomen, hips, thighs, knees and ankles. According to Osyris' website, the lipolysis laser energy is delivered by optic fiber into the hypodermis and elevates the temperature. This launches the destruction of fat cells (adipocytes), initiates skin tightening and decreases side effects, thanks to the coagulation of small vessels.
Wavelength and Power
The Lipotherme continuous wave diode laser operates with a unique 980-nm source filter that emits from one to 25 watts of power in a continuous wave, unlike some lasers that emit pulsed waves. Variable power allows physicians to customize the treatment for each patient and body area. For example, 15 W might be appropriate for the thighs, hips, and buttocks, while 6 W might be appropriate for the chin, arms and knees.
