Dr. Kevin Calhoun is a board certified physician who has practiced from Los Angeles to San Diego. After obtaining his medical degree from the prestigious UCLA/Drew School of Medicine, Dr. Calhoun settled in San Diego where he spent eight dedicated years in the Emergency Room of Sharp Chula Vista Hospital. It was during this time that Dr. Calhoun developed his love of working with patients to provide them with live saving and changing results. Although no longer practicing “life saving” work, Dr. Calhoun practices “life changing” work on a daily basis. He appreciates the opportunity to help people feel their happiest and healthiest in their bodies. Each day, Dr. Calhoun looks forward to meeting with patients on a personal level in order to understand the results they’re looking for. Dr. Calhoun is a model physician, going above and beyond the call of duty, “under-promising and over-delivering” to each and every one of his patients.

Dr. Calhoun is a member of many prominent organizations including, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and The International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, as well as the Medical Director of the Dermacare clinic he owns and operates in Mission Valley. Dr. Calhoun opened Dermacare Mission Valley with a mission of providing minimally invasive cosmetic procedures in a comfortable and convenient setting. Dedicated to staying on top of his game, Dr. Calhoun regularly attends conferences, seminars and keeps his credentials up-to-date and in superb standing. Outside of the office Dr. Calhoun, enjoys spending time with his family. As an advocate of children’s charitable causes, Dr. Calhoun supports his wife Tracy’s work with the Jack & Jill Foundation.
